I was lucky enough to attend DEFCON 29 through my involvement with the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Club. The Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center funded many of the officers and some interested members. During the conference, I attended several talks and tried to visit and experience as much of it as I could. That includes the completing the badge challenge with a group of two other students. The badge challenge included various activities testing your security skills such as open source intelligence, soldering, cryptography and lots more. It was my first experience soldering.
