Actively searching for an advisor!
During my first year as a Ph.D. student, I worked on a project with professor Kirill Levchenko of the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department. This project is an expansion of a previous one in our research group where we evaluated online health portals and their connections to third parties. The following research will be evaluating the same, but instead for mobile health applications. The initial article can be found here.
I volunteered to be a Graduate Ambassador. In this role, I helped four prospective Ph.D. students to learn more about our University.
Also in service to the University of Illinois, I volunteered to help at the Engineering Open House
During this several-day event, students of all ages come from around the state to our school to tour its facilities and observe exhibits of interesting engineering topics. 
I loved talking to the students of all ages and levels.
