This was my first experience volunteering or "having a job" in any capacity. The Wings of Fancy exhibit was a butterfly/moth experience in an indoor botanical garden. Unfortunately, this exhibit hasn't run since the pandemic began due to staff shortages, but if it ever opens up again, I highly recommend going!
I was a Docent for one summer and had to learn a bit about all of the species in their indoor botanical garden. Of course I had some previous knowledge, and knew that my favorite butterfly was the Blue Morpho, but it was fun teaching younger kids and even adults about what they were seeing and hoping a butterfly would land on me one day. It is always a pleasure to see someone's reaction the first time they see a butterfly with partially transparent wings, the Atlas moth, or the revealing of the beautiful inner wing of the Blue Morpho with such an unassuming outer wing.
